| |
Manuel Antonio is a beautiful beach town on Costa Rica's central Pacific coast. It is best known for its national park, pristine white-sand beaches, scenic drives, and luxurious accommodations. Manuel Antonio is located just south of the town of Quepos, approximately 100 miles (132 km) from the national capital, San José.
Manuel Antonio National Park, the most famous site in town, boasts striking white-sand beaches backed by a deep green forest growing right up to the high-tide line. It also contains numerous hiking trails, all of which are easily accessible, well-maintained, and provide beautiful views. This area's natural diversity allows for a variety of outdoor activities, including horseback tours, white water river rafting, hikes through the rainforest, and deep-sea scuba diving. Manuel Antonio also offers many cultural attractions to complement the natural ones, so a day in nature can be topped off with a first-class meal or a night dancing merengue or salsa.

| "I went to Costa Rica without any knowledge of Spanish. However, I felt at home and soon I was able to communicate with Costa Ricans. I have not only learned Spanish now, but also I have made a lot of friends with both the other students as well as the teachers. If you attend this school, I am sure you will have the time of your life!" |

| "We are very glad that we chose this school. The entire staff is professional and organized. Our teachers were excellent! The school in Manuel Antonio is a facility with an amazing view of the Pacific, and the fresh fruits and coffee at break times are always delicious. Our four weeks there was a most worthwhile vacation. ¡Perfecto!" |

Vanessa Chester

| "During my eight weeks studying in Manuel Antonio, I found the teachers to be dedicated and very capable. As the class sizes are kept small, I was able to focus on what I needed to learn and I greatly increased my speaking ability. I met students from all over the world and enjoyed the culture of Costa Rica. I highly recommend the school to anyone." |
Karen Dockery

| "When I arrived in Costa Rica, I was somewhat anxious because I did not know anyone and my Spanish was basic. By the time I left (two months later), I was close to fluent in Spanish and had met many new friends from several different countries. I also felt welcomed into the 'family' at the school which includes its teachers, staff, students, etc. All of the connections I made in Costa Rica have had a lasting impact even to this day." |
Robert Kahn

| "What I like about [this school] is the attention that the entire staff demonstrates with regard to all aspects of the study abroad experience. The classes, housing and tour arrangements could not be any better. Since I take students from the United States to Costa Rica every year, I had to find a well established institute with reliable personnel. After interviewing directors from various schools as well as visiting their premises, I had no difficulty choosing this school. Their staff will do everything possible to help the student master the Spanish language in a very friendly environment. They are also there to help in any situation that may arise. My students and I are thoroughly satisfied." |
