school activities on some evenings. Usual events
include concerts, talent shows, buffets, and whatever
other creations students come up with.
Fitness
Center
The school in Paris has a special agreement with
a local gym for students. This makes it possible
to have easy access to the fitness center, where
students can swim, play tennis, and work out at
reduced rates.
Students looking to expand their experience beyond the city
of Paris can participate in the school's exciting excursions
into surrounding regions.
Troyes This ancient capital of Champagne has been
restored to its lovely 16th-century state. The city's
winding pedestrian streets and timbered houses are
complemented with the best outlet shopping in the
region. Troyes is known for its multitude of city-centered
activities, such as cafés, restaurants, museums
and theatres. It is also home to several Medieval
and Renaissance churches, such as the St. Pierre-St.
Paul Cathedral and the Basilique St. Urbain.
Fontainebleau
Castle
These grounds were the royal residence for the rulers
of the 12th century. Second in size only to Versailles,
this palace was renovated by Francis I from a medieval
fortress into a Renaissance château decorated
with extravagant Italian art. The castle was made
into a national museum in the 18th century, and
includes a special gallery dedicated to Napoleon
I. Outside, the old hunting grounds include a lush,
forested area that reflects France's natural beauty.
Châteaux
de la Loire
The expansive Loire River is the longest in France.
A flourishing region between Paris and Brittany,
the Loire Valley is famous for its history, wineries,
and architecture. Visitors to the Châteaux
de la Loire can experience the glory days of France's
most privileged classes, visiting castles such as
the Chenonceau and the Chambord, and the wineries
of Vouvray.
