Italian &
Art History
This course combines group language lessons with
15 hours per week of afternoon art history classes.
The course begins in the classroom and then travels
to the city streets, where students will have the
chance to explore museums full of Venetian masterpieces
by famous artists like Bellini, Carpaccio, Veronese,
Tintoretto, Tiziano, and more.
You
will also explore the city’s intricate architecture
from the Byzantine age to the Neo-classical period.
This is a great way to study Italian and learn
about Italy’s famed artistic past. All museum
entrance fees are included.

Courses
Other special courses in Venice are available as
one-on-one training and prepare students for the
special requirements of a particular topic. The
main language goals of these courses are to gain
subject-specific vocabulary, confident language
skills, precise formulation of ideas and sentences,
and fluency in speech.
