  Marbella, Spain 14-18 year olds

Location
The camp is situated on a beautiful field. The campus covers 38,000 m2 and is amply shaded by a surrounding thick wood of pine trees, which creates a tranquil, pleasant atmosphere. Just 8 miles from the center of Marbella and a short ride from the Hotel Don Carlos and the city’s General Hospital, our prestigious center is also a 15-minute walk from the beach!

  Facilities
The camp’s central building consists of the dorm rooms, a dining hall, and a residential area for counselors and coaches. Sports facilities include a large swimming pool; showers; a covered, multipurpose sports area; a paddleball court; 2 soccer fields, one grass and one paved; a basketball/ mini-soccer court; a handball court and two stables. There is also a newsstand, a game hall and a large farmhouse that accommodates a variety of activities.

Accommodations
The students will live in dormitory rooms furnished with bunk beds and closets. Each dorm room accommodates 8-12 students, grouped according to age and sex. At least one counselor sleeps in each bedroom to supervise the campers. Monitors also oversee the shower house, which is set apart from residence hall.

Dates
June 29 (only for the 3- or 5-week program); July 6, 20; August 3, 17.

Summer Camp Programs
Residential Stay
The Residential Stay embodies the essence of our summer language camp philosophy: by living, studying, playing, and practicing languages together 24 hours/day in a totally multicultural environment, campers will learn interpersonal and linguistic skills to last a lifetime. When they choose this signature option, Spanish and international students are only separated during their morning language classes. They'll experience everything else together, from morning wake-up, to sports, art workshops, recreational activities, excursions, meals and more. It's the perfect recipe for making life-long friends from all over the world!

The Day Camp Program
Will your whole family be in Spain for the summer? If so, this may be the summer camp program for you! The Day Camp option is designed so campers can attend camp activities during the day but return to their families at night. Day Camp students take part in all the same classes, sports, workshops, excursions, etc. with residential students from about 9:15 am to 8:00 pm, but they will stay with their families at night and on the weekends. Lunch and snack are included. Transportation to and from the camp is optional.

  Summer Camp Staff
Our onsite camp Director carefully selects our camp directors, coordinators and "monitores" (Spanish for “counselor” or “coach”) based on their experience, expertise and, above all, dedication to the students. The summer camp staff is made up of 95% native Spaniards, most with a high level of English and other languages. The vast majority return year after year, all united by the same goal: to make your child’s summer the most enjoyable possible!

Camp Director
Besides the executive directors, the Summer Camp Director at each site holds the highest level of responsibility. He/she works very closely with the coordinators and "monitores" to make sure the summer camp runs smoothly and attends to the needs of every program member.

Counselor Coordinators
One Counselor Coordinator is assigned to each of 4 categories: Babies, Kids, Juniors and Seniors. The Coordinator works closely with the "monitores" to develop and supervise summer camp activities, and also keeps a close eye on student participation to ensure that each camper makes the most of their summer.

Camp Counselors
One counselor is assigned to each group of 10-12 campers. These counselors spend 24 hours/day with their group, act as mentors and tutors and take care of every personal need or concern each camper may have.
