speak and understand Spanish, we offer an extremely
accelerated Intensive Executive Program. The program
has been designed specifically to fit the busy schedules
of business executives and managers, enabling them
to communicate in Spanish within a short period
of time. The course is suitable for all levels from
beginners to advanced students, and for individuals
or groups.
Medical
Spanish Through
this intensive Spanish language and culture program,
nurses, doctors, and other health care professionals
will develop skills to enhance their effectiveness
in communicating with Hispanic patients. The curriculum
includes terms and information specific to the health
field. Physicians, nurses, physician's assistants,
clinical psychologists, paramedics, social workers,
lab technicians, and students majoring in a health
care profession can reach a very practical level
of Spanish in about two weeks.
Spanish
for Airline and Travel Personnel This
course combines the school’s intensive language
and cultural program with an emphasis is on vocabulary
useful for airlines and travel agencies. Travel
industry personnel will develop knowledge of the
Spanish language and gain fluency in communicating
with their Hispanic clients. In addition, you will
work towards having the proficiency to successfully
complete company language exams. Airlines such as
Lufthansa have approved this program.
Intensive
Spanish Bilingual Teachers Program This
program is designed to supplement and perfect the
Spanish language skills of teachers who interact
with students who speak Spanish as their native
language.
Intensive
High School Program The
school is dedicated to offering high school students
the best atmosphere for learning while allowing
them to enjoy their stay in Cuernavaca. The Intensive
High School Program helps students develop their
communication abilities through interactive learning
activities.
A
primary objective of this course is to emphasize
the practical use of language skills, and students
will have many opportunities to practice their knowledge
through conversation workshop activities such as
games and real-life situations.
Children's
Program Combine
a family vacation with a Spanish course! While you
are in class, your children will be nearby learning
Spanish with other children of the same age group.
The Children's Program is a fun way to start learning
a foreign language at a young age and to meet children
from other cultures.
Designed
for children ages 4 to 12, the program focuses on
communication and offers a variety of daily activities
led by professional instructors. At the end of their
stay, parents will receive a report of their children's
progress while the children enjoy a graduation party.
Senior
Program Participants
in the Senior Program attend intensive Spanish language
classes and culture courses to meet their individual
interests, profession, and Spanish proficiency level.
The program emphasizes vocabulary and conversational
role-plays to maximize the effectiveness of language
instruction. Social and cultural activities that
fit the participant's needs and interests are also
included.
DELE Preparation The DELE (Diploma de Espanol como Lengua Extranjera) is the only certificate for non-native speakers recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport. This diploma is of great international value for those who plan to attend a Spanish university or work in a Spanish-speaking environment.
The school offers DELE preparation courses for all three levels: Certificado Inicial, Diploma Básico, and Diploma Superior. Examinations are held at a university in Cuernavaca, and the course is offered prior to the exam dates. The DELE exam is issued by the Director of the Instituto Cervantes on behalf of the Spanish Ministry of Education. Latin
American Studies Truly
mastering a foreign language involves much more
than just grammar and pronunciation; it’s also essential
to immerse yourself in the culture. For this reason,
the school offers an optional course in Latin American
Studies. Lectures and classes on such topics as
literature, civilization, art, and history introduce
students to Mexican and other Latin American cultures.
These
classes are designed to complement the regular intensive
Spanish program, and are given by master's and doctoral-level
specialists, each of whom is distinguished in his
or her respective area. Students can sign up for
one to six weeks of classes. Credit from the local
university is available for 4-week and 6-week courses.
Internships
The school offers
a unique opportunity to complement your Intensive
Spanish Study Program with a local internship. Students
will not only gain valuable work experience, but
will also be able to explore a particular field
from the viewpoint of the Mexican culture. It is
possible to receive credit for participation in
the internship.
