Thanks to the school’s excellent campus facilities, its
ideal location in the City of Knowledge, and a variety of potential
excursions, you will never be at a loss for things to do while
studying in Panama City.
Athletic
Facilities
The school has access to top-of-the-line sports
facilities, a perfect fit for active students. These
include: an indoor gym, outdoor workout area, Olympic
size swimming pool, baseball and soccer fields,
and jogging paths.
Cultural
Events
Students are invited to go on free day trips sponsored
by the school. These include visits to Casco Antiguo,
Miraflores Visitor Center, Gamboa Rainforest Resort,
and Amador Causeway. During the week, you are also
invited to hear native speakers share personal expertise
and experience in their fields.
Campus Amenities
Besides taking advantage of the welcoming green
garden areas around the school, students are also
welcome to spend time in the any of the campus restaurants
and cafés.
Contadora,
Grande and Tobago
The luxury of studying in Panama City is the convenience
of getting to the nearby islands. Contadora, Grande
and Tobago are part of an intimate collection of
tropical islands off the coast of Panama. Besides
boasting over 13 glorious beaches, these islands
offer numerous outdoor activities including fishing,
golf, water sports, and of course, just relaxing
in the sun!
Islas
San Blas
The San Blas Archipelago is unlike any other in
the world. The sparkling turquoise water and white
sandy beaches are only part of the appeal. Only
20 minutes away from Panama City, San Blas also
allows visitors to experience the beauty of the
traditional culture of the Kuna Indians.
As a visitor
to these islets, you can spend time on the beach
on the private islands, go on a fishing tour, or
learn about Kuna tribal culture. Both the vivid
colors and traditions of the Kuna people and the
gorgeous beaches make this trip unforgettable.
Valley
of Anton
The Anton Valley is a magical place, located inside
the crater of an inhabited dormant volcano. It is
home to the famous golden frogs and square trees.
A wonderful opportunity for hiking enthusiasts,
many tourists choose to experience Cerro Gaital
and Cerro Pajita, the only natural rainforest left
in this area of the world. Each hill has trails
that lead to vistas on the crater floor, giving
visitors a view equal to none other.
The
Panama Canal
This incredible feat of engineering saves ships
the long trip around the tip of South America. The
51-mile canal was built in 1914—over 400 years
after the idea’s inception—after years
of construction and political and cultural battles.
A testament to hard work and dedication, the Panama
Canal now conducts over 14,000 ships per year, accounting
for most of the word's exporting trade.
Visitors
to the Canal will not only experience the wonder
of the locks, but an integral part of Panama's history.
