Perched 11,000 feet high in the southwestern Andes, Cusco is
known as the archeological capital of the Americas. The city
has long made a name for itself as the gateway to nearby Machu
Picchu and the Inca Trail. Every narrow street and lane of Cusco
emanates history, as traces of ancient Incan culture and the
town's colonial past provide an intriguing backdrop for the
contemporary buildings and modern conveniences.
Visitors to Cusco can get a colorful dose of traditional culture
just by wandering past colonial architecture on the town's narrow
streets, spending time in the illustrious Plaza de Armas, or
seeking out the many markets selling the beautiful wool sweaters
for which Peru is renowned. Whether you are practicing your
Spanish, investigating the area’s archeological charms,
or just hanging out around town, you’ll be sure to soak
up plenty of the cultural richness of Cusco.

The school occupies a beautiful and historical colonial home from 19th century on one of the many small plazas, called Limacpampa Grande, right behind of the most important site from pre-Colombian Cusco, the Qorikancha (Temple of the Sun). Occupying two floors
of a large building, the facilities include 15 classrooms decorated
in the typical Peruvian style, a video room, a full kitchen,
an entertainment room, and a sundeck. The school is conveniently
