Spanish students will study in the prestigious Salamanca district, just one block from Retiro Park and a short walk from the Prado Museum. The Spanish school has 25 air-conditioned classrooms, a social area, a video room, a computer room, free wi-fi access, and a library. Transportation connections are excellent: many buses and two underground subway lines stop nearby. The average amount of students enrolled in Spanish classes at any given time is 120.

around Spain. Because of its central location, students will
be able to take numerous day-trips, as well as weekend excursions.
The school offers a variety of excursions, which are listed
below. Students can also take advantage of the school’s
frequent culture classes that provide the opportunity to learn
more about the country and the culture. And as an added bonus,
free weekly business Spanish classes are available to any student
looking to learn a little about how to use Spanish at work!
In addition to these organized activities and excursions, you'll
find that the students, both Spaniards and foreigners, spend
many evenings going out to the theater, chatting at tapas bars,
enjoying the cinema, or dancing the night away at a discotheque.
The city's propensity toward excitement and activity also means

DELE Preparation
The DELE (Diploma de Espanol como Lengua Extranjera)
is the only certificate for non-native speakers
recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education,
Culture and Sport. This diploma is of great international
value for those who plan to attend a Spanish university
or work in a Spanish-speaking environment.

offers DELE preparation courses for all three levels:
Certificado Inicial (CIE), Diploma Básico
(DBE), and Diploma Superior (DSE). The location
and time of these courses are synchronized with
the exam dates set by the Ministry of Education,

This course brings together a small group of professionals,

in small, intensive lessons. The program teaches

vocabulary.

regular course meets for 22 hours a week, the intensive
course for 32 hours per week. There is a maximum
of five students per group. This program is complemented
by extracurricular activities, including visits
to the National Library and other locations. All
trips are accompanied by an instructor. This course
