Teachers
of Spanish as a Foreign Language
In Salamanca the school offers a "Curso de
Repaso" for Spanish teachers. This course supports
Spanish teachers by bringing their theoretical knowledge
and their teaching methods up to date. Emphasis
is on revitalizing linguistic and didactic abilities
and refreshing social, economic, political, and
cultural awareness.
You can
take this two-week course on your own, or as part
of a group. The group program meets the requirements
for a LINGUA grant, which is available to Spanish
teachers within the European Union.
Spanish
& Wine Tasting
In this course, students learn Spanish while getting
to know and evaluate various Spanish wines, their
history, different processes of production, and
socioeconomic importance in Spain. Learn how to
pour and properly taste Spanish wines and identify
their different characteristics based on region.
The course
also includes a visit to the renowned Castle Museum
of Wine in Castilla y León where you will
explore the village and participate in a wine tasting.
Spanish &
Cooking
Learn Spanish while discovering the secrets of fabulous
Spanish cuisine! This three-week course teaches
Spanish language with two weeks of specialization
in Spanish cuisine. You will learn how to make paella,
gazpacho, tapas, sangria and other dishes from a
professional cooking instructor, and of course,
indulge in your creations when you are finished!
DELE
Preparation
The DELE (Diploma de Espanol como Lengua Extranjera)
is the only certificate for non-native speakers
recognized by the Spanish Ministry of Education,
Culture and Sport. This diploma is of great international
value for those who plan to attend a Spanish university
or work in a Spanish-speaking environment.
The school
offers DELE preparation courses for the Certificado
Inicial (CIE) and Diploma Básico (DBE). The
location and time of these courses are synchronized
with the exam dates set by the Ministry of Education,
Culture and Sport (usually in May and September).
Preparation is given by highly-qualified teachers
