| |
Sevilla, the capital of Andalusia (southern Spain), is one of
the most beautiful and traditional cities in Spain. It is an
explosion of color and of contrast—between contemporary
and historical, Roman and Arab, educational and entertaining.
Here, you will see tradition come to life in such Spanish mainstays
as flamenco dancing and bullfighting. You can also visit varied
monuments such as the Moorish Alcázar Palace and the
Giralda tower, as well as the gothic Cathedral, the third largest
in the Christian world.
In Sevilla, you will feel the spirit of an eternally romantic
city. Spring is filled with the excitement of two of the most
important festivals: Semana Santa (Holy Week) and the Féria,
a spectacular flamenco festival. Year-round, the city’s
lively atmosphere thrives—thanks to the open and friendly
local residents. Sevilla is a perfect location to develop your
Spanish language skills, gain cultural perspective, and have
the time of your life!
