Culture Classes
Students can choose two optional culture classes a week at no additional cost. These courses are given as talks or conferences and are illustrated with images so that students of all levels can follow them. For students with entry-level Spanish, the phonetics and pronunciation classes are recommended.
Course topics include:
Spanish History from Arab Times to Modern Day
History of Art, Painting, Architecture and Sculpture
Spanish Cinema (with explanations before the showing)
Spanish Cuisine (with tastings)
Sevillanas (dance classes as the expression of traditional Andalusian folklore)

You are encouraged to choose a different option each week in order to keep your program diverse and interesting.


Business Spanish
In addition to your regular Spanish course, small-group business classes meet 10 times per week. These are ideal for those who need to supplement their Spanish studies with basic knowledge about the business environment. The majority of students who choose this course plan to work in an environment in which Spanish is an important language.
Course content is adapted to the specific needs of the students, but can include the following topics:
Negotiation
Telephone communication
Business correspondence
Company structure in Spain
Socio-economic situation in Spain


Chamber of Commerce Exams
The school is an official examination center for the Madrid Chamber of Commerce and offers a four-week preparation course in collaboration with the University of Alcala de Henares, where students can receive the Advanced Certificate in Business Spanish. The course consists of 22 classes per week plus 10 classes of Business Spanish in groups of 6 to 12 students.
You will have the opportunity to study the following specialized subjects:
Business correspondence
Verbal negotiation
Socio-political geography
The state of the Spanish economy in the Hispanic and international markets

The school boasts a 100% pass rate on this exam!

Note: This program is designed for students who have already reached an intermediate level of Spanish, and who can readily express themselves clearly and easily in everyday situations.


Español en Casa: Live with a Teacher
This unique and progressive program combines all the advantages of private instruction with a stay in a family environment oriented towards the learning process. The teacher's home becomes the classroom as you are immersed in the language and the culture, practicing everything you have learned.
Because you will be living with the teacher, he/she can quickly assess your skills and needs, resulting in a much more efficient learning experience. In addition, cultural visits will be arranged and you will have the opportunity to join peers in school activities.


Private Courses
Other special courses in Sevilla are available as one-on-one training and prepare students for the special requirements of a particular topic. The main language goals of these courses are to gain subject-specific vocabulary, confident language skills, precise formulation of ideas and sentences, and fluency in speech.
